Baby fawn, sleeping peacefully, waiting for its mom to come back.
One of my favourite sculptures - maybe because the sight of the fawn being so vulnerable and peaceful really shows nature’s beauty in its purest form.
If a fawn is resting like this, it’s best not to approach or disturb it. Usually, this means the mother is nearby, and it’s instinctive for the baby to hide quietly in the tall grass.
