This cup is a part of my Forest collection, inspired by cherished childhood memories of walking through the Masurian forests with my dad. Those explorations—discovering trees, lichens, mushrooms and other intricate wonders of nature—remain a profound influence on my work to this day
The process of creating this piece involved several steps. I began by sculpting the original form, then crafted a mold to produce copies. After the initial firing, I applied oxides, underglazes, and experimental combinations of glazes, ensuring that each piece is truly one of a kind. The second glaze firing always held an element of surprise—much like those memorable walks in the forest, where discovery and wonder were around every corner.
