This mug is a part of my Forest collection, inspired by cherished childhood memories of walking through the Masurian forests with my dad. Those explorations—discovering trees, lichens, mushrooms and other intricate wonders of nature—remain a profound influence on my work to this day
The process of creating this piece involved several steps. I began by sculpting the original form, then crafted a mold to produce copies. After the initial firing, I applied oxides, underglazes, and experimental combinations of glazes, ensuring that each piece is truly one of a kind. The second glaze firing always held an element of surprise—much like those memorable walks in the forest, where discovery and wonder were around every corner.
Each piece differs from the inside and outside - imitating the beautiful imperfections in nature. Since I work in small batches while glazing - expect your piece to be truly unique
